Who is the rapper doughboy

I never see the world as just the city I live in. I hope everyone could see a bigger world outside of their social circle. So I purposely made sure each artist featured on the album had a different background. I wanted to set an example musically to bridge Asia together and also connect Asia with the rest of the world.

I wanted this album to represent the power of the people and the power of unifying people together from all around the world. I want to use this [album] as an example of combining our powers together as opposed to using our power for division and against one another. You also reached out to the abstract artist, Ghost Style to work on a print for each song, why did you add that extra layer for this album? I wanted people to feel the music. Everything we feel is constrained by time and peer pressure.

I wanted the audience to look at each painting and listen to each song and feel their immediate response. You idolised a lot of artists growing up, how did they inspire or influence the work you do now? Yes, I became a music producer because I wanted to get a chance to make music for my favourite artists.

Hot on the heels of the release of his first single, Prove , Dough-Boy rolls out a new track, Mama, featuring the red-haired Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty.

Both of them hit it off and went to an Atlanta studio to create the song. The music echoes the strong relationship that the two artists have with their mothers while growing up with an accompanying music video featuring young doppelgangers of the two artists in nostalgic moments with their moms.

They would even provide feedback about his music when he was starting. Dough-Boy has been continuously touring for the past few years, and while he enjoys the perks of travelling, he also misses being with his family. I was determined to not even speak 'Chinglish', just full on Cantonese so I could learn faster.

Now, I'm happy to consider myself just as comfortable in Cantonese as I am in English. I started making music in high school when I was in Singapore.

I started making beats on my computer. I rapped once in a while for fun, but it wasn't my main thing. I really just wanted to produce music for other people. I was in some other rap groups before, but it was only three years ago that I became serious and decided to become a rapper and make music for myself. I feel like I can fully express myself through music by writing the whole song for myself.

For Dough-boy songs, I don't think what will be a 'hit'. Most of my songs are just therapeutic, I do it because I feel like it. We actually target bigger topics that we think people can relate to. When they came out, a lot of people hated them because people didn't think their music was 'real hip-hop', but they're really good at what they do.

Their music sounds like comedy but they're actually saying a lot of important stuff. The two of them are really smart people too. I think among Hong Kong's hip-hop artists, they have the most albums out, and they even do some acting. We were in Malaysia shooting for Yo! We met her at one of the record label offices and she was doing a lot different interviews with people, so we decided to shoot a video with her for fun. She seemed to have a lot more fun with us, doing that video.

I think she's pretty cool. On April 8, he was hit with two cocaine charges in Wayne County, including a year felony, but caught a break. His sentencing guidelines recommended a term of seven-to months in state prison and included the possibility of probation. A post shared by Balboa Yeargin, he was working solely on music. After being sentenced for the drug crime in June, Yeargin was ordered to wear a tether until mid-September.
